On a good day at the race—the horse wins, owners & trainers make money
and the horse lives another day....

However, every day of racing throughout the world, the reality is that horses endure life-threatening injuries and are euthanized — most are still babies at only 2-5 yrs old...

Or if they are not winning, they end up in the slaughter pipeline and go to a devastating death over the borders.

The lucky ones find new homes....like these 3 recently ex-racehorses we just rescued

for The Equine Sanctuary.....
